“Hello and happy summer! It is finally that time of year again and we hope everyone is ready to enjoy the camping season, we know we are!!”

As some of you may know, we have many new things to enjoy here at Kenorus, as well as many new things to look forward to. We now only have 12 overnight sites to enjoy at the park this year, however they are all equipped with brand new services and landscaping. We also have many more things to do at the park this year with the addition of the shuffleboard table in the Social Hall, and the installation of our brand new projector system where we can air any game, race or show for you! We have also put our efforts into making our Bingo nights better; we said out with the chips and in with the daubers. This year the game is better than ever, and we hope you enjoy it.

As some of you may know, we are building out the south end of the park with more seasonal sites. We have received so many questions about the process and we have finally come up with a concept that we think will be very successful:

The new end of the park will be built in three phases. The projected finish date for Phase One is spring of 2018. This phase includes 20 new lots that will be available to our current seasonal guests first, and then advertised to the public. The lots will be sold for Park Model Homes only, with Wifi, and beautifully landscaped. In the later phases of our project, we will be adding another pool and a restroom building to the south end of the park. This will reflect the same construction as what is at the Main Office, and will be available for everyone in the park to use but this pool will be adults only. The lot fees for these sites will start at $3,150.00 along with all of our regular park fees. We are reserving now! If you are thinking about taking part in this wonderful new addition to the park, please let Jason or Darnelle know and we can officially reserve your dream campsite!

As of May 23^rd, our neighbours to the north have graciously approved a bike/ walking trail from our park to the rail trail to be constructed by us. However, they are going to monitor any litter/trash or destruction to their property at which time they could withdraw our access. Please help us keep Kenorus a respectful, growing community. (Construction delayed, still projected for this summer)

CANADA DAY

The July 1^st weekend our family is hosting a customer appreciation day, from 3-6PM join us for a BBQ with hamburgers, hot dogs and salads, also in this same time frame we will have pony rides and a bouncy castle for your children and grandchildren. At 6PM we will have our wagon ride. At 7PM we welcome some live entertainment in the basketball court area. This is for our camper’s enjoyment, please note that if you do have guests and they would like to attend the BBQ we will have a modest charge for those that are not registered seasonal campers. Tickets will be available in the office for your guests.
